Casa Velas is an adults-only luxury boutique hotel that offers a serene oasis with a focus on culinary experiences and wellness.

The best part of the stay was the staff and the ambience of the resort!

Located in the Hotel Zone, it’s about a 10-minute drive to Zona Romántica, so you can easily enjoy the gay nightlife while still having a spacious beachfront resort to return to.

The resort offers multiple pools, several restaurants and bars, and direct beach access—perfect if you like the idea of combining Puerto Vallarta’s gay scene with a more traditional all-inclusive vacation.

The hotel has 3 outdoor pools, is in a private setting, and has a rooftop restaurant that serves fine dining with a live band on selected nights as well as a cantina for hotel guests and restaurant refreshments. Ot’s dog friendly, so Puglo was able to join us, which made it even better.

Located just a few blocks from Los Muertos Beach and the Zona Romántica nightlife, it’s perfectly positioned for exploring but also offers plenty of reasons to stay in.

Piñata PV is clothing-optional, with a courtyard pool, hot tub, and bar area that create a relaxed, social atmosphere where guests naturally connect. They also have a masseuse who will come to your room for a deep tissue or relaxing massage.

Other amenities at Villa David include a beautiful heated outdoor clothing-optional pool surrounded by lush plants, an open-concept living room and dining room, and a rooftop deck with lounge chairs and a hot tub.

Villa David is Puerto Vallarta’s longest-operating gay Bed and Breakfast operating since 1988, and it is one of the top gay-friendly hotels in Puerto Vallarta!

This gorgeous hacienda-style mansion features several rooms with daily maid service, AC, Flat-screen TV, WiFi, a safe, beach towels, and an extended continental breakfast.

While not an exclusively gay property, Crown Paradise Golden is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort that has become a favorite among LGBTQ+ travelers who want the full resort experience at a more affordable price point.

They also range from boutique properties with as little as eight rooms to massive resorts with around 500 rooms. These packages include all meals, drinks (including alcohol), and many activities, which are paid for in advance. Unlike many USA hotels, pets aren’t as welcome in Puerto Vallarta; however, seven properties are on our list where they’re as welcome as yours.
